About the UniversiDI Summit

The Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) and the National Coalition of STD Directors are excited to host a one-day, virtual summit for disease intervention professionals on June 24, 2026. 

In support of the Certified in Disease Intervention (CDI) program, the virtual UniversiDI Summit will feature interactive sessions with DI professionals across the country, informational sessions on DI certification from our national partners, and subject matter expert-led training sessions on disease intervention competencies.

Participation in the UniversiDI Summit will count for 5 CDI recertification credits for people who are CDI certified at the time of the event.

What can you expect during the virtual UniversiDI Summit? This interactive, virtual day-long event is designed for disease intervention professionals and will focus on the Certified in Disease Intervention (CDI) program, including certification information, preparation resources, and training opportunities. The virtual summit will also include opportunities to connect with peers and learn from subject matter experts across the field.

About the Certified in Disease Intervention (CDI) Program

The Certified in Disease Intervention (CDI) Program is a national initiative to certify and standardize the skills, knowledge, and expertise of disease intervention professionals. The CDI program is supported through funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention through Cooperative Agreement No. NU50CK000612 awarded to the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH).

About UniversiDI

UniversiDI is an interactive learning platform that places you at the center of a virtual campus, where you take on the role of a scholar advancing your expertise in disease intervention (DI). 

Through a central campus map, you navigate between campus landmarks that house competency-based training and CDI Certification test prep materials aligned with the skills and responsibilities of the field. 

This virtual campus experience creates a sense of purpose and progression, allowing you to engage with content in a structured, intuitive way while building your knowledge and staying current with evolving best practices.
